It's up to you. Whole bean is best as you can grind it on demand for the freshest taste. Or we can grind it to your preference.

We grind your coffee just before it goes in the post so it's at it's very freshest. There are 4 levels of grind:

  1. Cafetieres and plungers need a coarse grind
  2. Pour over (like Hario V60) and filter drippers need a medium/fine grind
  3. Aeropress is a little more fine
  4. Espressos and stovetops work best with a fine grind

Our grinders are special commercial level Dittings and we use a separate Ditting grinder for decaf coffee.
